A stronghold in its stable, LTFV bases services approximately 150 long-line fishing boats from China to the Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Philippines. These bases have extensively embraced the entire tuna-fishing ground in the Western Central Pacific region.aa

LTFV bases also serve as the maintenance and supplies depots for fishing vessels operating in Western Pacific. More than 150 long-line vessels benefit from LTFV bases' strategic locations and maintenance capabilities. These bases provide fuel, baits, materials and crew supplies to the vessels.

The critical need for freshness has been the major component which has prompted LTFV's sister company, Asia Pacific Airlines to operate three (3) Boeing 727 aircraft. These planes ensure reliable airfreight and transshipment services for the timely export of fresh chilled tuna from bases to buyers. Through its Guam branch, LTFV has been able to coordinate and oversee the logistics operation effectively and efficiently. | | |  | FOOD PROCESSING
To answer the growing demands for fresh tuna products in the US, Europe, China and Japan markets, LTFV operates 4 processing plants in Davao, Pohnpei, Majuro and Palau.
A newly formed joint venture with Honolulu-based NORPAC Fisheries Export further strengthens LTFV's processing capabilities by providing branded and value added tuna products to the US mainland market.
| | |  | SALES AND DISTRIBUTION
LTFV established its foothold on major tuna markets by developing local key liaison offices in Japan, Honolulu, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and China. These offices manage the local supply distribution processes, as well as thoroughly conduct on-location customer relationship, and marketing and distribution analyses.
